I attempted to put a few personalized “how-to” tips into my help file on Photoshop CS (placed in the Additional how to content folder under the help folder in PS).
These help files need to be in html format, with the extension .html according to Adobe’s instructions in their “Create your own How To tips”.
Well, on my PC anyway, after 30 minutes of trying to figure out what I was doing wrong (photoshop kept going to the web looking for these html files that I had stored on my local hard drive), I tried using the .htm extension. This worked fine.
I’m don’t know a lot about html; is this something that is just so obvious that Adobe felt it was unnecessary to specify that the file extension be htm instead of html? Or could I be doing something stupid?
Thanks,
Bob
