Hello everyone, this is my first post on here, so bare with me!

I have been using photoshop for a while now, and I havent been stumped by much, but as with everything theres always a first!

I have a picture taken indoors that needs to be outside, I have already removed the background, but it needs to look cold so I thought I would add some cold breath coming out of the subjects mouths.

Does anyone have any techniques to create such things in photoshop? Or can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks

New layer
Set to Screen
Paint some white
Then use any combo of
- Smudge tool
- Gaussian Blur
- Liquify

Painting white on a layer set to screen so more options are available. That is, Edit > Fill with Black > Behind for more tweaking with Curves and/or Levels and things.

Take some playing and practice, but shouldn't be too hard.

Now IF the subject is light skinned I would also suggest tinting the nose, cheeks and ears a little bit red. Unless of course, this wouldnt fit in with the look your going for.

Its all about the random snowflake.

Not even a few, just one. Now that just chills me thinking about it...
