Fuzzy Edges on BMP's

Hi,
I am having problems when I create .BMP's, Jpeg's and Giff's in photoshop, I'm getting a fuzzy bleeding edge around the parimeters of the image, I can go back to the image and re-fill it but it has no effect. I have attatched an image so you can see what I mean. It 's imperative to the work that I am doing that it appears solid.

Can anyone help?

Just a thought, but are you resizing the images that you are using, making them larger? That's what it looks like from the artifacts in the image you posted...

If you are, try setting the background color to black.

If that doesn't work, try flattening your image before you resize up.

If none of that works, can you post the .psd that you are using which gets the problems. (Or at least an example for us?)
