plastic people???

can anyone help me out with some tips for turning photos of people into plastic dolls a la Ken and Barbie dolls??

Welcome to PST!

The easiest would be to photograph the Barbie and Ken dolls, then use the rubber stamp to copy recognizeable elements like the face, maybe the hands...

There are tuts around here in the photo section about how to soften the skin to have a plastic-like appearence, if you force the blurring, but I don't know if it is what you are searching for...

i think i'll go with the blur and mask technique just cause the pics will be small and the details won't matter too much. i was going to go with adding faces to doll pics, but looking for images with the perfect position and clothes because way too much of a hassle. i'll try to post a finished pic once i get all 12 people/dolls done.
