NewB here: How do you make some cool text?

I'm learning w/ PS, but I want to know how to make some neat/cool text in some of my photos? Thanks :)

Depends on the subject though, since we don't go for a scifi font if we want to express romance...

a couple of things;
1. you can do a simple google search to "photoshop Text effect tutorials" and get a bizillion different answers to your question.
2. the effect you use should reflect the feeling, style, and concept behind the design. Don't just add text because it can make your photo cool or show off your photoshop skills...it might be better to just concentrate on your photography, if this is the case.
3. Classic examples...look at movie websites...notice how the text reflects what the movie is trying to express...or at least what the movie's marketing team is trying to express...
