Possible to automate this task?

I need to place some logo in the exact place (with %60 opacity) on several different images. I have been manually copying and pasting the layer (with the logo) on every single image and manually adjusting its location and opacity each time.

Does anyone know how I can go about doing this more efficiently or if this task is possible to automate?

Is there a way to copy something to the clipboard and paste in the same position? This would help a lot too.

There's a command in the file menu called "place". I'd look into that, in combination with an action ;)
