Frickin' compulsive ADD crap. I'm at it again.
Specifically for Lab mode - will not work in RGB.

Allows you to offset a and b. Also does 'saturation' using 128 as the center-point. If you understand how these work together, then you might understand how order of operations is important. As such, I added an option for Sat First, which will flip the operations around. Yes, this can make a difference.
Even though a quick hack, works damn fine as is. My head has already got more junk, though.
Meh.

Download updated.
- first two sliders are basically pre-colour balance
- next four sliders adjust saturation
- last two are post-colour balance
Even threw in some markers next to the sliders to remind what exactly each slider does at a glance. Pretty quick going with these.
Even though Levels/Curves will work funky fine in Lab, they were originally designed for 0-255 work. Lab is a bit different and needs a new tool paradigm. If you understand Lab and have some ideas, I'm all ears.
edit:
Just noticed that the markers are in Cartesian. Makes sense to me because I'm so used to Cartesian, but I might rotate some of them to align with corresponding slider.
Dessy, as we used to call him, is my hero. I should give him a call and see if he wants to get together with Kai for some coffee and cucumber sandwiches.

Stroker, who is Dessy? Another Guru, in the same way as Kaï is?

Dessy = Rene Descartes
As the story goes, he was lying in bed and watching a fly on the ceiling (some say he was in bed with the flu). He got curious as to describing the fly's position on the ceiling. Then it occurred to him to count the tiles on the ceiling. That night, the Cartesian coordinate system was born.
He's OG, Original Guru, as they say in da hood.
I'm sure you know more about him than I do. I mean, he is from your chunk of this globe. Like, a national hero in Venice or Tours or something. He even went to Jesus college of La Flinch where he developed his 'only people that know will know' philosophy. Yeah, something like that.
edit:
Colourful markers rotated and updated.
I think I'm going to add some right-click the Preview thingie. It will tell you the original and modified a and b values.

Yep, Descartes is definitively a guru...

We Americans (in general) are so ignorant of non-USA knowledge. Hell, some Americans are so wrong about our own history. Man, that cracks me up. You're a good sport, Spec.
For the most part, I think I'm done. The To Do list is pretty dinky. Wouldn't take long, but I'm not in the mood. I would much rather play with it than polish the last few bits.

I was up until 3am the other night doing this one. Got up at 7am and did some polishing.

If you try it, let me know how the Preview updating works for you. If it bogs down for too many, I'll take out and offer a seperate download.
