Hi Greg, this is my first post here and I gotta say I'm very happy that I've found this board, just the place I was looking for .

While waiting for that upcoming site of yours I decided to ask if you're also going to make a tutorial on how to make waterdrops? All I've got done myself is this:

http://www.mitream.fi/edge/smallwaterdrop.jpg

It looks pretty cool even if it doesn't really look like a waterdrop, but I'm always hunting a better way to do this.. it would be even cooler if it could be done to a irregularly shaped object but I guess that's too much to hope for .

Welcome Edge,

Thanks for the kind words, glad to see you here.

Nice work. Good optical look.

Yes, I will have a water drop technique up there. The image is already built.

As to "too much to hope for..." well it's not. The technique I have devleloped works great with irregular shapes.

coming soon... ;)

Grrr, do you have any idea how envious the rest of us are when looking at your pictures? :-).

Anyway I can't wait to see all the tutorials, I actually bought an Allsop mousepad today, it has nice pics of waterdrops on it which I can marvel at while doing graphics stuff .

Good. ;) Better envy than apathy.

Hey Greg!

I just wonder if this water drop technique is up somewhere on the net yet?

Just curious cuz I saw the date on your last post and then it said coming soon...

and I even think I've seen a tutorial ending up with that exact
image sometime but I can't remember where and when.

Just reading the tips in this place really helps me out.
I remeber when I first open photoshop and thinking "what the hell is all this crap."
