With the talent we have here I would be surprised if someone from PST didn't win a prize.
First place is $20,000 (ca-ching $$$)
Even 2nd and 3rd at 5,000 and 1,000 is respectable.
Bonus prizes from Adobe and Macromedia.
The website isn't great, too bad they don't have a PDF of the brochure I picked up. They do have a PDF of the entry form.

Excellent link and information artslave! That's so cool that you shared this with the community here, it says a lot about your character.
:)))

Me too. People here should check it out.
If someone from this site wins one of the super-groovy prizes (other then artslave), someone owes him a big dinner!!

Oooh, a competition! That would give me something structured to do over the holiday, involving my artistic creativity!

I was made to enter a Painting comptition when I was on my A-level art course, at the Royal College of Art, in London. It was a sort of young person thing, somehow I ended up coming second, and got given some nice acrylic paint! Could take a photo of the painting if anyone is interested in seeing it!

Okay dokey,

Just took photo of the painting, which is an A1 Oil Painting. I did it a couple of years ago now, but you can post your opinions if you want.

Everyone, Try to guess what its a painting of :)

You know, I think I saw a brochure about this a while ago, and just thought to myself I would never win this, in a million years. Anyway. Seeing this again kind of makes me want to figure out something to do, especially since I am finally close to getting a decent "painting" technique in PS... brings up all sorts of ideas.

el_Brujo... I think the brochure gives a lot more info... I'll try and scan it in for you if I can find it.

Anyway, your painting, Ranoka, looks like someone getting frisked by the police... You know, their hands on the trunk of a car, etc... I like it, very interesting.

ps. Looking back at this post, I sound like Sir Tim... with all my elipses... I must be in a weird mood... cause I never use this many... ;}
