Is there any way, or is there some plug-in, for putting type on a circular path in Photoshop? I took a class from you a few years ago and learned a lot! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Good question. It is not a function Photoshop is really built to do. Freehand or Illustrator would be much better choices for this kind of work but...
In v.6, when you have a Type Layer the options bar offers a Warped Text button. When you click on it the dialog that opens offers a Style called Arc. If you set it to Horizontal, Bend: +100% and click OK it will produce a half circle. Now Duplicate the Type Layer by dragging it down to the Create Layer icon. Then click on the Warped Text button and set Bend: to -100%. Now you can position the lower type arc to line up with the upper one using the Move tool. It's not perfect but the text is still editable and it will do the job in a pinch.
BTW, check out the Arch (not Arc) warp. Using it in the same way as above (just set the Arc to Arch on both layers). Doing this creates a pseudo-3d text loop. Kind o' cool.
